Melita Glorioso

Melita received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, where she concentrated in digital design. After graduation, she moved to Tennessee and worked at a sign shop for about two years, designing signs, banners, business cards, etc. After moving to Missouri, she worked for a small company that specialized in promotional products, screen printing, laser engraving and embroidery. There, she was the primary designer for all projects, and expanded her knowledge base by designing for a different range of services than with her previous employer. She moved on to earn a graphic design position for the local newspaper in southeast Missouri, where she was involved primarily in advertising design. After moving back to her home state of Louisiana in 2008, she earned a job as a graphic designer for a monthly lifestyle magazine and billboard company designing advertising, editorial layout and billboards. 

Melita is married to her husband, Bones (a nickname), of ten years. They welcomed their first child, a precious little girl, into the world in 2011 and their second child, a rambunctious little boy, in 2016.  Freelancing allows Melita more flexibility as she enjoys being a mom. She thoroughly enjoys working directly with clients to custom create projects that fit their individual design needs. Melita uses industry standard programs for her design work, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on a Mac platform to produce the samples shown in her portfolios.
